Step 1

  1. A SMR surveyor performs a detailed inspection of the customers roof.
  2. Scaffolding or access equipment is erected where necessary.
  3. All visible broken tiles are replaced with same or similar to ensure that the roof is weathered for the cleaning and sealing processes.
  4. The area is prepared for the hydro cleaning process, i.e. tarpaulins will be placed where necessary and outlet strainers are fitted to the down pipes. In some cases, particularly if the property has a soak away system, it may be necessary to disconnect down pipes.
  5. The entire roof area that is stated in contract order is carefully cleaned using an effective adjustable turbo-nozzle water jet spraying system. Unlike conventional high pressure hosing, this process gently removes loose particles, root systems lichen, dirt and years of pollution fall out from each tile without surface damage.
  6. A fungicidal drench is applied to the roof to eliminate any unexposed spores between the tiles or under the nose of the tiles.
  7. The gutters are then thoroughly cleaned out to remove any debris from the roof cleaning surface.
  8. There is a mid-job clean up; walls, verandas, paths ect are given a light wash with a garden hose.
  9. All the roof debris  gathered from the roof cleaning process is removed from the site and disposed of.
